Winners are Different

Winners Do Differently to Make Them Self  Special

10 Things Winners Do Differently
Anyone can give up, and lots of people do, because it’s the easiest thing in the world to do.  But to keep going when everyone would understand if you stopped, that’s what winners do differently.  In fact, this is the most significant principle of winning.  Because without this kind of determination and persistence, the first nine points in this article wouldn’t matter.  But when you combine determination and persistence, as described in point #10 below, with each of the other nine points below, that’s when the real magic happens.
On their relentless road to victory, winners…
  1. Take 100% responsibility. – Your life is your statement to the world, representing your values, beliefs, and dreams.  It is yours to create, to enjoy or not enjoy, to fight or to be at peace.  In the end, the very best years of your life will be the ones in which you decide your problems are your own.  You do not blame them on your parents, society, or the economy.  You realize that you control your own destiny.  Read The Road Less Traveled.
  2. Focus on the controllable. – Life is a balance between what we can and cannot control.  You must learn to live comfortably between effort and surrender.  Life does not owe you anything; it has already given you everything you need.  Freedom is not overcoming what you think stands in your way;  it is understanding that what is in your way is part of the way.
  3. Eliminate the wrong things. – The true price of anything you do is the amount of time you exchange for it.  If something you’re doing or thinking isn’t fixing or improving the situation, then it’s wasting your time.  There comes a point when you have to choose between turning the page and closing the book.
  4. Maintain control. – Start shaping your own days.  Start walking your own walk.  This journey is yours.  You know you were born, and you know you will die.  The in between is all up to you.  Stop wishing, and start doing.  Either you run your days, or your days will run you.
  5. Keep good company. – It’s not always where you are in life, but who you have by your side that matters most.  Some people drain you and others provide soul food.  Be sure to get in the company of those who feed your spirit, and give the gift of your absence to those who do not appreciate your presence.
  6. Think constructively. – Change your thoughts and you change your reality.  Our thoughts are the makers of our moods, the inventors of our dreams, and the creators of our will.  That is why you must sort through them carefully, and choose to respond only to those that will help you build the life you want, and the outlook you want to hold as you’re living it.  Read Learned Optimism.
  7. Conquer oneself. – Being yourself is the foundation of happiness.  Knowing yourself is the foundation of wisdom.  Pushing yourself is the foundation of success.  It is better to conquer yourself is these ways, than to win a hundred battles elsewhere in life.
  8. Practice self-love. – We need to fix ourselves first before we fix others.  Caring for yourself is not an act of self-indulgence, it’s an act of self-respect.  The day will finally come when you have to accept that you need to be your own caretaker.  There will be times when you’ll have to work hard to mother yourself with the compassion and patience that any messed up kid would need.  Doing so will prove to be a great challenge, but a happier life is your reward.
  9. Work through the pain. – One day this pain will make sense to you.  Sometimes it takes the worst pain to bring about the best change.  The strongest people you know became strong because of the pain they once faced, and conquered.  So in spite of all the put-downs and negativity you’ve heard from others in your life, stay focused on your goals, and remember that how you rise up is no one else’s business but your own. Read Man’s Search for Meaning.
  10. Keep going. – No matter what you do, no matter how many times you screw up and think to yourself that there’s no point to carry on, and no matter how many people tell you that you can’t do it – keep going.  Pick yourself back up.  Don’t quit.  Don’t quit, because a few months from now you will be so much closer to your goal than you are now.  Focus on the road ahead.  Do something today your future self will thank you for.

I AM A MOTHER

                             "I Am A Mother" - Simply Superb

The Officer At The Driving License Counter Asked The Lady" What is Your Occupation? "

The Woman Seeking Renewal of her License Seemed to be Puzzled. So The Officer Said" Ma'am,are You Employed, Have Your Own Business Or.......
.
The Woman Replied  " Oh, Yes !! I Have A Full-Time Occupation. I Am A Mother "

Officer : " We Don't Have ' Mother ' As An Option For Occupation.
I Will Write it Down As ' Housewife '. That Takes Care Of All Questions."

The Public Relations Officer Was A Somewhat Pompous. Woman." Your Occupation? " She Asked in A Rather Authoritative Tone.

I Just Had An inspiration And Replied " I Am A Researcher in The Field Of Child Development, Nutrition And Interpersonal Relationships "

The Lady Officer Stared At Me in Amazement.  I calmly repeated my Statement And She Wrote it Down Verbatim.

Then, Unable To Conceal Her Curiosity, She Politely Asked " What Exactly Do You Do in Your Profession, Ma'am ? "

I Was Feeling Good About Having Described My Occupation So Calmly And Confidently. So I Replied " My Research Projects Have Been Going On For A Number Of Years

My Compensatiotn is in the terms of Mental satisfaction rather than Money "
I could see that The Officer Was Thoroughly impressed.

After Completing The Licensing Formalities, She Came To The Door To See Me Off.

This New Viewpoint About My Occupation Made Me Feel Much Better On My Way Back Home.

Success Lessons

  1. *Impossibility*

“Nearly every man who develops an idea works it up to the point where it looks impossible, and then he gets discouraged. That’s not the place to become discouraged.”

Roadblocks are sign-posts letting you know that success is just around the corner. Roadblocks are there to keep the uncommitted out. Roadblocks qualify you for success. Don’t get discouraged when things seem impossible, it’s darkest just before dawn.

 2. *Perspiration*

“Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration.”

Thomas Edison said, “The reason a lot of people do not recognize opportunity is because it goes around wearing overalls and it looks like  hard work.” There is no success without hard work; success is something that is only earned after much labor. Success can only come to those who  labor for it, it is through labor that you become a valuable person, and your value attracts success

3. *Capability*

“If we did all the things we are capable of, we would literally astound
   ourselves.”

Most people are living considerably beneath their capabilities. They’ve never focused all of their efforts on a singular task, so they are completely unaware of the power they possess. Everyone is good at something, and if singular focus is given to that talent over the course of  years, amazing things will be done. You are capable of astonishing yourself!

  4. *Solitude*

“The best thinking has been done in solitude.”

I have had my best thoughts locked away in a quiet room. Take time everyday to escape to a quiet room, if only for five minutes, to have your best thoughts. It’s hard to think about achieving the impossible, when  you’re surrounded with people wanting to discuss only the possible. Escape to a quiet room today, and begin to see all your possibilities.

5. *Restlessness*

*“Restlessness is discontent and discontent is the first necessity of progress.”*

Thomas Edison said, “Show me a thoroughly satisfied man and I will show  you a failure.” As long as you’re perfectly content you can’t make progress. Nothing happens until you become discontented. If you can live with being 30 pounds over weight, if you’re content with that idea (not happy, but content), then you *don’t* have the power to change it.

Remember, “discontent is the first necessity of progress.

6. *Perspective*

“I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.”

Perspective is everything! Edison said, “Results! Why, man, I have gotten a lot of results. I know several thousand things that won’t work.” That’s the way we should view our life, not as a compilation of failures but as series of necessary experiments letting us know what doesn’t work. From this perspective, we can move into doing what works, from this perspective we can succeed.

7 *Hard work, Stick-to-itiveness, and Common Sense***

*“The three great essentials to achieve anything worth while are: Hard work, Stick-to-itiveness, and Common sense.”*

Nothing can replace hard work, it’s fundamental to success. If you’re not willing to work hard, you don’t even have a chance at success. No one succeeds and says That was really easy!”

Additionally, you have to have a no-give-up-attitude; you must be willing to stick to a task that you’re passionate about, and never lose focus. And the final key is “common sense,” we all have it, but we all  don’t use it like we should.

In closing, “you have what it takes to succeed,” you have the ability to work hard, to stay focused, and to use common sense, the question is, “Are you going to do it?” I think you are.

*Find answers to the BIGGEST questions to success, wealth and inner mastery:
*

   - What is your motivation when things get hard or you feel down? What keeps you going?
   - What is one action you consistently take, to keep you progressing in the direction of your dreams and aspirations?
   - What’s the biggest secret to success?
